Sessions will be conducted via telehealth using a HIPAA-compliant platform. Telehealth offers a convenient and flexible way to access therapy from the comfort of your own space, reducing barriers like travel time, scheduling conflicts, or geographic limitations. Many clients find it easier to stay consistent with sessions when care is accessible from home or another private location that feels safe and familiar. It can also create a sense of ease for those who feel more comfortable opening up in a familiar environment, while still receiving the same quality of care and support as in-person therapy.
Individual Counseling
A supportive, grounded space can make it easier to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what you're experiencing beneath the surface of daily life. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, self-doubt, or a general sense of feeling stuck or disconnected, therapy offers a place to better understand yourself and move toward a more balanced and intentional way of living. You don't need to arrive with clear answers, but a willingness to begin.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we focus on identifying patterns, strengthening coping strategies, improving emotional and relational functioning, and increasing self-awareness. The goal is to support meaningful and sustainable change in areas of your life that feel stuck, overwhelmed, or out of alignment, while building greater regulation and connection.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy approach designed to help individuals process and heal from distressing experiences that may feel "stuck" in the mind and body. While EMDR is commonly associated with trauma, it can also support individuals struggling with other common disruptions, such as anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, and negative beliefs about themselves.
Rather than repeatedly talking through painful experiences in detail, EMDR helps the brain reprocess memories in a way that reduces emotional distress and allows for healing to take place more naturally.
During EMDR therapy, we work together at a pace that feels supportive and manageable. Treatment may include identifying experiences that continue to impact the present, building coping skills and emotional regulation tools, and using guided bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or sounds) to help the brain process unresolved experiences. Many clients find that memories begin to feel less overwhelming, emotional triggers lessen, and they are able to move forward with a greater sense of calm, confidence, and connection to themselves and others.
Couples Counseling
Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of connection and support, but when communication breaks down, conflict becomes repetitive, or emotional distance grows, it can begin to feel exhausting and isolating. Couples counseling provides a supportive space to better understand one another, strengthen communication, reconnect in meaningful ways, and discover important information about your individual functioning and patterns that guide your actions within your relationship.
My work with couples primarily draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that focuses on understanding the emotions and attachment needs underneath conflict. Rather than addressing surface-level arguments, EFT helps couples recognize the patterns they fall into, better understand each other's emotional experiences, and create healthier ways of responding to one another. Together, we work to strengthen emotional safety, rebuild trust, and foster a deeper sense of closeness and connection. The goal is not to determine who is "right," but to help both partners feel heard, understood, and supported in creating a stronger relationship.
Relationships thrive when both people feel understood, emotionally safe, and connected. Couples counseling can help you and your partner better understand one another, navigate challenges together, and move from painful patterns toward a relationship that feels secure, supportive, and fulfilling.
